With more than 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, product development, international sourcing, wholesale distribution, and retail, Gary has played a central role in developing American Weigh Scales into a recognized brand in digital precision weighing equipment.
His leadership combines a deep understanding of customer needs with international manufacturing relationships, product innovation, and strategic commercial partnerships. Today, Gary continues to guide the company’s growth through OEM scale manufacturing, private-label product development, custom digital weighing solutions, and international sourcing partnerships.

Gary’s entrepreneurial journey began at just 15 years old, driven by determination, curiosity, and an ambition to build something meaningful.

He opened his first gift and novelty store, navigating financial challenges and competitive retail conditions while establishing the foundation for what would become Sahni Enterprises.

Fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, with conversational Mandarin, Gary brings a multicultural perspective to international business relationships and manufacturing partnerships.
This global perspective is particularly valuable in OEM and private-label manufacturing, where product quality, manufacturing feasibility, cost, communication, and dependable supplier relationships all contribute to a successful project.
Community Involvement and Giving Back
Gary serves on the Board of Directors of Solum Global Investments and co-manages the Sohan Singh Charity, which supports underprivileged women and children through educational resources, scholarships, clothing, blankets, and assistance with critical medical needs. He is also active in his local Rotary Club.
Outside of work, he enjoys yoga and exploring new recipes through cooking.
